The airline "Alexander the Great Air Travel & SA" with the trade name «Alexandair» was founded in mid 2004.
Founder of «Alexandair» is Mr. Theodore Kokmotos former commander of the Greek Air Force and co-founder of the company Cronus Airlines (1995) and Galaxy Airways (1999).
The original plans of the company provided a starting date in July 2004. Unknown reasons delayed the lease of aircraft by the end of January 2005 where Alexandair it signed the lease of an aircraft type MD82. The aircraft arrived in Greece (specifically in Heraklion) on April 26, 2005.The main purpose of the company is carrying charter (charter) to countries of the European Union (EU) and especially Germany. Moreover, the initial plans of the Company provided, in addition to charter and domestic routes in four Greek airports. Finally in 2007 the only aircraft left the company so the company no longer operates.
