Το σκοπιανό Κανάλ 5 μετέδωσε, πως σύμφωνα με ανώνυμες διπλωματικές πηγές πάμε για αναβολή της διπραγμάτευσης για το όνομα της πΓΔΜ. Η απόφαση αυτή φέρεται ως σκέψη του Νίμιτς αφού η Ελλάδα βρίσκεται σε προεκλογική περίοδο.

Skopje. UN special envoy in the negotiation between "Macedonia" and Greece plans to freeze the talks between the two countries for a few months, "Macedonian" Kanal 5 television reported, citing anonymous diplomatic sources."Macedonia’s" firm position, Athens’ rejection of essential points in the most recent proposal and the election campaign in Greece are the reasons for Matthew Nimetz’s intention to maintain the negotiations only formally. The actual talks will start possibly in May next year when the new Greek prime minister, who will have more space for negotiations, will be named. It is planned that then a brief, but essential campaign will be launched to solve the name dispute. NATO and EU officials might also join it, the television notes.
